JETPACK® special gas burner

Even though PREMARK® can be applied with an ordinary gas burner, it is recommended that a special burner such as the JETPACK® is used. JETPACK® differs from an ordinary gas burner in that it spreads the heat better and more uniformly.

This characteristic gives the user better control over the the work so that the PREMARK® markings get exactly the amount of heat to give best results – both with regard to adhesion and function. With the JETPACK® gas burner it is possible to attain the optimum adhesion between markings and road surface; also the drop-on material for the surface of the markings remains on top. By this, a high initial value of retro-reflection and friction is achieved without the necessity of adding extra glass beads and/or friction material.

The JETPACK® gas burner is made from a lightweight material, which makes the work of application easier. Moreover, the torch nozzle is made of a material that does not heat up in use, thereby increasing safety throughout the work.
